When there are blood stains on the mattress here are some common steps to clean the blood stains off from the mattress:
You will need hydrogen peroxide to clean. Use the hydrogen peroxide and apply on mattress and blot it while it is bubbling. Then again blot it with clean and dry cloth.
Further rub the stain with meat tenderizer from pantry which will remove the proteins. In case you still see stain then rinse and follow up rust removal which will remove iron found in blood.
Add salt to plain water and pour solution into any spray bottle which is very effective in removing the fresh blood stains.
Baking soda solution: this is also handy solution where you need to mix one part of the baking soda with two parts of the cold water. Apply on area using clean cloth. Let it sit there for thirty minutes. Clean the area with damp cloth in cold water and rinse solution and then dry the area with dry towel which will absorb moisture.
Take liquid dish washing detergent and mix it in with cold water. 1 tablespoon of detergent and two cups of water will make a solution. Soak a white cloth in solution and apply to affected area. Gently brush affected area with toothbrush. Rinse solution by blotting with wet cloth and then towel dry the area.
