Rusty or reddish stains on bed sheets or mattresses can be caused by bed bugs being crushed, or if you find any dark spots on the mattress, otherwise eggs and eggshells, which are tiny (about 1mm) and pale yellow skins that nymphs shed as they grow larger or else you find Live bed bugs.
Make Sure You Have Bed Bugs
You can take a closer look, or the other option is Google the pictures of bed bugs. Compare both and then make sure that you have bed bugs. Once you get assured, then you can adequately take any action to get rid of bed bugs.
Stay Calm
Bed bugs are dangerous, but it doesn’t mean that you start throwing everything wherever you find the bed bugs in your bed or the wooden furniture. Throwing your expensive items is not the solution. A solution is to get rid of them so that you may live your life again peacefully. Fight with bed bugs may be hard, but removing them is possible. So, stay calm and plan out to eliminate them.
Pest Control Spray
Spraying everything and everywhere seems easy, but it could not be the only solution, nor is it the very first option you have. However, if you find no other solution, then you can call some pest control team for the spray to get some powerful pesticides. Before doing it yourself, read the label and the instructions very carefully, the quantity to be used, and the precautions that need to be taken.
Reduce Hideouts
Reduce clutter will decrease the number of hiding places for bugs and insects as they find many safe places to hide in your house, and that’s why it becomes harder to fight against them. Another way to get rid of these insects is to keep regular cleaning, Wash your clothing, bed sheets, blankets, and the duvet is you suspect if your home in infested by these insects. They won’t feel safe, and it will be easier for you to spray them till death.
Keep The Place Clean And Dry
Dusty and humid places are the favorite places for these insects. I advise you to keep your bed sheets clean and dry, sofas, rugs, and cushions should be vacuum cleaned so that they may not find these things like a suitable place to hide. You can put your wooden furniture outside of the home during the sunlight. With the help of heat, they have to leave their favorite hidden place.
Set The Right Temperature For The Refrigerator
Cold temperature can kill bed bugs, but your refrigerators may not severe enough to kill the bed bugs. So, you have to keep an eye on the activity of the bed bugs. Surf on Google for the temperature, which is best to kill the bed bugs. Once you have the idea, set your refrigerator’s temperature below that so that your food and other stuff may remain safe and cool in your refrigerators.
Increase The Heat
Bed bugs are unable to survive at 43 °C or above temperature. So if you increase the room temperature up to 45 °C for a certain time, then you can get rid of bed bugs in just a few minutes.
Don’t Spread Bed Bugs.
If you have anything which has bed bugs, then don’t throw it out or dispose of is not a solution, neither selling these items to others. If you throw that item out of your home and it can harm someone who picked it up for his or her personal use, then there’s a chance that bed bugs will spread, and hence the chain of harmful bedbugs will keep spreading. The best way is to use a nontoxic spray to control their spread. The spray might not disappear but will decrease the number of bed bugs in your home.
