Pool in Bathroom

We’d all love to fill the rooms in our houses with a whole host of luxury items. Dreams range from games room complete with a gigantic pool table and old arcade machines lining the walls, to the twelve-person hot tub sticking out like a sore thumb in the back garden.

TV in Bathroom

Most of us won’t ever own these extravagances, but that’s not to say other rooms in the house can’t be made more luxurious. Fifty-inch flat-screen televisions aren’t an as uncommon sight in living rooms today as they might have been a few years ago, and surround sound systems aren’t exactly a rarity.

Polished Marble in Bathroom

How many people do you know who have had their kitchen refitted with polished marble worktops, stylish new cupboards, or a brand new multifunctional range cooker that can cook three different things at once?

Bathrooms are another example, and, unsurprisingly, so many people choose to redesign them, considering just how important and useful they are.

And so it is that I present to you my three must-have items to create a luxurious bathroom. If you follow these, you will have family and friends queuing down the stairs to use it.

Walk-In Shower:

Showers enclosures come in a range of shapes and sizes, and now even smaller bathrooms can have bigger showers with a variety of folding and sliding doors to save valuable space. But since we’re making this bathroom standout, a walk-in shower is the obvious choice.

Counter Top Basin:

Pedestal basins are beautiful and look great in more traditional bathrooms, but nothing beats a nice big countertop basin for a stylish, contemporary motif.

Close Coupled Toilet:

Most bathrooms wouldn’t be complete without one, and in my experience, you can’t go wrong with close coupled toilets. There are a lot of designs out there to suit the look of your bathroom, so even these least glamorous of bathroom features can still look sleek and stylish.
