Bed bugs are dangerous, but it doesn’t mean that you start throwing everything wherever you find the bed bugs. Throwing your expensive items is not the solution. A solution is to eliminate them so that you may live your life again peacefully. Fight with bed bugs may be hard but removing them is possible. So, stay cool and let’s plan out.
The spray is not the First Option
Spraying everything and everywhere seems easy but this is not the solution nor is it the very first option you have. However, if you find no other solution, then you can call some pest control team for the spray, or you can get help from PowerPestControl. From here you can get some very powerful pesticides. Before doing it yourself, make sure you have read the label and the instructions very carefully.
Homes are not just safe for you but these insects and bed bugs as well. Bugs and insects find many safe places to hide in your house, and that’s why it becomes harder to fight against them. You can make this fight easier by reducing the hiding places. They won’t feel safe, and it will be easier for you to spray them till death.
Keep it Clean and Dry
Dusty and humid places are the most favorite places for bed bugs to hide. So keep your bedsheets clean and dry. Keep your sofas, rugs and cushions vacuum cleaned so that they may not find these things as the suitable place to hide.
Your Freezer May Not be cold enough
Cold temperature can kill bed bugs but your refrigerators may not severe enough to kill the bed bugs. So, you have to keep an eye on the activity of the bed bugs. Just Google for the temperature which is best to kill the bed bugs. Once you have the idea, set your refrigerator’s temperature below that so that your food and other stuff may remain safe and cool in your refrigerators.
Kill with Heat
Bed bugs won’t survive at 43C or above temperature. So if you increase the room temperature up to 45C for a certain time, then you can get rid of bed bugs in just a few minutes.
Don’t Spread Bed Bugs
If you have anything which has bed bugs, then don’t throw it out or dispose of by selling these items to others. If you throw that item out of your home and if someone picked it up for his or her personal use then there’s a chance that bed bugs will spread and hence the chain of harmful bedbugs will keep spreading.
