For a mattress to feel good to sleep on, it has to smell fresh. You can add essential oils on the mattress or on pillows, which will make it smell refreshing. But what if you have a bad odor of the cigarette coming from the mattress, well it is gross for people who don’t like the smell of smoking, and it is uncomfortable if you have to sleep on such a mattress. When you have a night party in your room, and your friend or guest who smokes leaves the odor for you, what can you do to remove it?

Well, here is the solution to clean the mattress from the cigarette odor:

As mentioned in an earlier post, you can use the baking soda solution or the liquid detergent solution to clean the whole mattress. Cleaning the whole mattress is essential for removing the odor from your mattress.

When you apply the baking soda solution or the liquid detergent solution, make sure you do one section simultaneously but complete the mattress.

If you are the person who smokes on your mattress, then you must often do this. Also, often you need to launder your linens. This is to keep the odor from becoming pervasive.

Upholstery Cleaning

To remove the odor, you need large cans of the Lysol spray, which you have to use one for each side and saturate the mattress with it. Let the mattress dry, and then follow up with two large bottles of Febreze. Place hypoallergenic mattress pad cover on it.
