AquaBare’s biggest advantages in the marketplace are unit size and price. AquaBare offers the biggest units on the market, topping out at 6.6 gallons for their “Platinum” model. If you are looking for a tiny filter that will only purify 1-2 gallons of water at a time, this isn’t the brand for you. However, if you are looking to get the biggest and best system on the block, then AquaBare is the choice for you. You really can’t beat the convenience of needing to refill your system fewer times during the day.
If you are considering a smaller brand, you should consider the purchase price and filter replacements. Some smaller brands will charge you more per gallon purified than AquaBare does for their larger units!
Not only can you be stuck paying more per gallon, but some nanosystems require specialized filters. This means you lose out on parts compatibility and be pidgeon holed into paying exorbitant prices on filter resupplies should that manufacturer ever raise their prices or go out of business. In this sense, AquaBare is a more economical choice because we do not use any proprietary parts and all replacement filters are readily available on our website or in stores at a fraction of the cost.
