How To Make The Rose Potpourri:

Ingredients are rose petals, fixatives, spices, herbs, and the essential oils

If you have some fresh rose petals, you can dry them in a flat pan or on any flat surface as they turn crisp. For each quart of petals, add one tablespoon of fixative. Dry lavender, sandalwood, orris root, oak moss, etc., which are available in chop form at the herb store, and then add your favorite spices like nutmeg, dry citrus peel, vanilla beans, cloves, cinnamon, etc. finally, add a few drops of the essential oils from the aromatherapy range or add the favorite perfume. Seal the mixture in a jar, and it mellows in it for some ten days. You must keep shaking the jar for a couple of days such that they blend in properly. Then place it in a porcelain bowl in the house or make a sachet of potpourri and place it in a drawer etc. Your home will welcome you with a refreshing aroma.
