Beauty fans rejoice — Arnotts is soon to become home to the most prominent beauty hall in the country, with 25,000 square feet of the very best products in beauty, cosmetics, and skincare. This will make Arnotts a one-stop-shop for cosmetics and skincare aficionados, who can shop to their heart’s content while staying under one (stunningly revamped) roof.
The iconic department store, which is celebrating its 175th birthday this year, is already home to some of the best-known brands in the industry, including Urban Decay, NARS, Benefit, and MAC, but is gathering more new and exciting ranges every day. It recently launched the wildly popular Floral Street fragrances and signed an exclusive contract with cult-favorite IT Cosmetics.
On-site beauty experts provide all the assistance a curious shopper could need, with makeup demos, makeovers, and even group bookings if you’re preparing for a special occasion. Skincare consultants are on hand at every counter to help customers choose the right combination of products for their skin type. And of course, state-of-the-art technology is around every corner — the new Tata Harper counter features interactive selfie mirrors, and Clinique provides a complimentary digital skincare analysis.
Luxury beauty gifts are especially popular among customers of Arnotts: they can opt for one of the pre-packaged gift sets or work with the experienced staff to build a bespoke collection of products designed with the lucky recipient in mind. These could include fragrances such as Chloé and Viktor & Rolf, skincare favorites such as Lancôme, and The Ordinary and beauty must-haves such as the Yves Saint LaurentTouche Éclat or a MAC lipstick.
Just like in their other departments, Arnotts is keen to promote smaller, more niche brands alongside the more established beauty houses. With this in mind, they’re creating a designated ‘beauty hub,’ which will feature lesser-known labels, giving consumers the chance to try new and innovative products.
Men are well catered for too, with a wide range of personal grooming products, including skincare, body care, hair care, and shaving equipment. Big names appear here as well, with Kiehl’s, Tom Ford, and Molton Brown lining the shelves.
Visitors can treat themselves to purchase and a spot of pampering at the same time, by stopping byOSLO beauty on the first level. The dedicated skincare clinic and brow bar offer an extensive selection of Image facials, dermal-needling, and ever-popular lash and brow treatments. If that’s not enough, they can pop across to have their hair beautifully styled by Zeba Hairdressing or The Grafton Barber.
Arnotts has been catering to the beauty needs of the Irish public for almost two centuries, and this new multi-million Euro investment means they’ll continue to provide the very best in cosmetics, skincare, and beauty for many years to come.
